Our Sustainability Strategy

Sustainability is intrinsic to every aspect of how we work, and we are committed to leading our industry in the improvement of production, working practices and formulations for the good of people and the planet. Above all, we want our practices to be positive, impactful, and measurable – with real results that will be validated by 3rd party firms or bodies.

Product

By driving innovation in design, material and process, we will improve our sustainability profile. In the next 5 years, we want all our products to be traceable in both origin and environmental impact. By 2025, 100% of our packaging and retail solutions will be recyclable, biodegradable or designed for recovery.

Process

By engaging with our partner factories, we will ensure our entire supply chain is working towards our vision. In the coming 2-3 years we will develop programs and certifications to improve the sustainability performance of our suppliers.

Place

By upgrading our facilities, and having our impact audited, we will improve our environmental footprint. We will reduce the water consumption of our factories during the production process within 5 years. We will discharge zero untreated waste at our manufacturing facilities by 2022, and send zero waste to landfill by 2025.

People

By creating a safe and inclusive workplace, we will create a better world for our people and our communities. We are establishing an internal women’s network, and we aim to be recognised as one of the top ten companies for gender equality by Equileap by 2025. By 2025 we’ll define a new company-wide program investing in local communities.
